Deep in the heart of the Mound is an ancient library guarded fiercely by the possessive elves. This library is home to the complete history of Litharia, from beginning to present. Every hero, every villain exists within these ancient records. Of course, the humans have their own point of view to share. It would be unfair not to include the scrolls and texts from their own meager historical library as well.

This is much easier done without the nuisance of forwarding massive amounts of PMs. This is a staff only board (just TRY and penetrate my admin-powered fortress! Buahaha!). It is used to bring up any and all problems within the site. This includes, but it not limited to, technical issues, problem members, and fascinating plot developments regarding the worldwide plot.

Once upon a time, a hole was torn through time and space thanks to an overzealous fairy. Two universes became connected, one full of dark Chaos and the other full of colorful Wild. From the depths of this black hole emerged the daemons and their chaotic magic. Unable to return through the portal from whence they came, the daemons have learned to adapt to the strange Litharian ways.

Vagabonds. Rogues. Nobody trusts a shapeshifter. To live with a foot in two worlds is an abomination of life. And yet, these determined creatures persevere. They even stick together at times. Although the elves do have an account of their arrival at Litharia and the records of dialogue that took place between the species, the true origins of the shapeshifters are a matter of legend and speculation.

Ah, the humans. The zombies of Litharia. Humans take, conquer and destroy. They also love, build, and strive. There is so much potential in a single human being, but the chances of that human using such potential is exceedingly slim. They are creative, however. Humans have a knack for adapting to change and have a tendency to survive when they should fall. It is the humans who have taken over Litharia.

In the heart of Litharia is a tumultuous city commonly referred to as The Spirit of Litharia, or Spirit for short. It is a bit of an enigma in that all species are said to be welcome there. Tension envelopes the city as peaceful creatures collide with those of a more fanatic nature. The Spirit City could quite possibly be the most dangerous city in Litharia specifically because of its open door policy.

| Cliffs of Heaven
In the far east of Litharia, rocky cliffs rise to meet the sky. They are so high that the tops are often lost in the clouds. Only on the clearest days can they ever be seen. Legends speak of brave heroes climbing to the top of the rocky precipices. Many of those stories end badly. Only a few tell of the magic that may (or may not) exist. According to one legend, it is possible to commune with the gods themselves.

| Southern Boil
This massive desert promises death to anyone who does not know how to navigate it. Small villages, mostly home to criminals, surround each small oasis. These shelters (if one could truly call them that) are spread so far apart that the slightest error could have you die of thirst before reaching the next one. This desert is the home base for the slave trade that travels across Litharia.

| Westward Marshes
The marshes are considered the creepiest part of Litharia. Strange sighting have been reported there since the dawn of time. Little lights will lead you into the most deadly parts of the marshland. It is always dark, misty, and gloomy. Some travelers have reported seeing the walking dead, translucent and terrifying to behold. The land is spattered with quicksand. Make sure you bring a walking stick!

| Northern Tangle
The Northern Tangle is extremely dense forest. It is dangerous to everyone; including the fae who choose to live there. In the winter it is constantly below freezing and all of the water turns to ice. It does not rain until spring, only snows. This part of the forest is home to very strange beasts. Some are beautiful to behold while others are terrifying. Dead, they are all worth a fortune.

| Forest of the Fae
This part of Litharia still belongs solely to the fae. It lies north of Spirit and south of the Northern Tangle. This is where most of the fae make their homes now that they have been kicked out of the rest of Litharia by humans. Only Fae may expect safe passage here, though daemons are often left alone as well. Humans are hunted by more than just the fae themselves. This part of the forest is still alive with fae magic and it hungers for human blood.

| Daemon Tunnels
The Daemon tunnels go under and around the Westward Marshes. They are considered to be neutral ground among daemons. Outsiders may be brought there, but they are considered the property of their host and have the same rights as slaves. The tunnels are riddled with precious jewels that the daemons tend to ignore. The maps to the tunnels have never been recorded but is instead passed on orally from daemon to daemon.

| Shifter Island
Just of the southern coast of Litharia is a small volcanic island. This island is a refuge for the shifter population because, well, they are the majority for once. They tend to distrust outsiders and do their best to make sure everyone stays away. The shapeshifters live in a constant state of fear because they don’t want their last home to be conquered by humans. Of course, it’s hard to keep people away when there are rumors of ancient and magical treasures hidden in the caves around the volcano.

| The City
The human capital of Litharia. It is surrounded by a massive wall made of white marble in order to keep out unsavory characters. Daemons and shifters are occasionally granted passage depending on their business, but the fae had best keep themselves hidden. They are to be executed on sight. The entire city is bustling and proud. The slave trade flourishes and those with money live well.

| Into The Mound
Deep in the Forest of the Fae is the Mound, the only gateway into Faery. This is where all important fae business is conducted. Faeryland is a land of madness, wilderness, and color. It is a land of music and revelry. A daemon may be able to handle the madness, but shapeshifters and humans would go insane unless they partook of the food and drink. And everyone knows that if you eat or drink in Faery, you become one of them yourself…

| Dream Land
At the very heart of the Daemon Tunnels lies the original portal that connects to Dream Land. Chaos from the original daemon world has leaked from that portal and into this part of the tunnel, creating a land as strange and chaotic as the original. Odd plants grow, strange creature scurry around. Shadows move. For exactly four miles in every direction, the tunnels have been warped and corrupted by daemon chaos.

| City Of Thieves
A city within a city, the City of Thieves holds court at a tavern in The City. It is run mostly by shifter vagabonds that passed themselves off as human to get into The City. It is dangerous, of course, but so is everywhere else in Litharia! This is the sanctuary for all gypsies, cutthroats, and ne’er do wells. Just make sure you pay the price! The Disloyalty is repaid only with death.

| The Ice Castle
Named for the shimmering white stone used to make it, the Ice Castle is not really made out of ice. It is, however, just as cold. The human who rules from it does so with an iron fist. And why not? Litharia is at war with itself and the humans would not be the ones who lost. The castle is so magnificently vast that the entire royal family and much of the non-royal nobility is able to live there alongside the knights and warriors.
