First impressions are hard to erase
Etched in my mind and it just won't go away
Maybe I'm playing my cards way too safe

Appearance:
What was once human:
Hadjara was born a Reptilian Shaman and her appearance still reflects her human origins. She's tall for a Reptilian Demon, at 4'11". Hadjara is lean, with strong muscles and a body hardened by a life of hunting and fighting. Despite her strength, she has curved hips and breasts that make her unmistakably female, as well as the standard somewhat unearthly Daemon beauty.
She still has most of her human family's traits about her. Her lips are plump and her features are smooth and gentle, and her complexion is very pale.
Body:
As a daemon, Hadjara has taken on the physical aspects of her crocodile influence. Because She was influenced by an avidile, Hadjara had grown a pair of powerful, heavy duty black wings that are very dragon like in appearance. They are about the same size as her arms, and far more muscular and complete with their own set of claws. Her wings are useless in flight but powerful and fast underwater. Hadjara has also grown a crocodile tail, at it's widest it is only slightly thicker than her wrist and only reaches down to mid calf. Her scales are molten gray and green although they are so dark and shiny they are almost impossible to distinguish from black.
Hadjara has curved, black, 4 inch claws on her hands and feet that are sharp enough (and designed to) cut into rock and grip it firmly. When sheathed, her nails are black as well. Hadjara's fangs are basically a crocodile's set of fangs rearranged to fit into a humanoid's mouth and look rather terrifying all pushed together.
Eyes:
As a human, Hadjara had one bright green human eye while her right eye was a green crocodilian eye given to her after she lost the original. As a Daemon, both of Hadjara's eyes usually look the same however they fluctuate between both looking completely human and both looking completely crocodilian depending on hoe hard she's focusing on something. Usually they're somewhere between the two.
Hair:
Hadjara's hair is black and hangs in lose locks, usually cut over her shoulders and a fringe above her eyes. Her hair is sleek, and dotted with the same dark scales as her wings and tail. She also has scales dotting her hairline and two triangular strips of scales running from the nape of her neck to the base of her neck.
Scars and Marks:
While her lifestyle leads to frequently having minor injury, the only major scar on Hadjara is a massive reddish-pink scar from a lightning strike on her back. It starts at the top of her left shoulder and spreads across her back down to her right hip. She also has four pale purple lines on the left side of her throat from where she was (accidentally) burned by Gabriel after a vampire scratched her with poisoned claws

Is it the way that you shake
When your hips move to the bass?
Is it the way that you shake
When your hips move to the bass?
Personality:
Empathetic: Hadjara has always had a good heart, and even as mistrustful as she has become of those around her the girl is still very empathetic. Hadjara believes that there is good in everyone and is usually rather gentle and friendly when she meets someone for the first time.
Cautious: While she believes there is good in everyone, Hadjara also knows there's evil in everyone as well. She is wary of new people, and while she is outwardly friendly Hadjara is unwilling to trust strangers and usually is on the lookout for any warning signs of danger. Especially after her time in the Shadow World Hadjara is constantly on the lookout for something to attack her and she has a very hard time relaxing. Often Hadjara is prone to panicking in highly stressful situations rather than thinking logically.
Violent: Violence isn't Hadjara's first instinct, usually Hadjara tries to be reasonable. But, despite her initial hesitations Hadjara is not afraid to use physical force or even excessive violence. Usually, Hadjara will only resort to violence defensively but whenever Hadjara is going through one of her withdrawals she becomes far more aggressive and will resort to violence without much warning.
Sexual: Most often Hadjara has no sexual interest in anyone. Although she has never made a conscious decision to this effect Hadjara has no desire to have any sort of sexual relationship with anyone unless they already have some form of positive(-ish) relationship between them. But when she is interested in someone she's interested in them all the time and tends to be fairly sexually liberal with the few partners she does take. When she is interested in someone sexually she will put in her best efforts to seduce them, although she is less likely to be receptive to someone trying to woo her. Actually, any interest expressed in Hadjara if Hadjara has not already expressed her own interest will be met with a wall.
Malak: Malak is violent and cruel. As an adumbrate, he is as wild and as unpredictable as a particularly moody Daemon and while he is highly intelligent, Malak has roughly the equivalent emotional maturity of a three year old. Malak has no motivation to do most of the things he does other than boredom but be warned, no matter how he acts around you he's still probably trying to figure out the most entertaining way to kill you.

History:
Within the marshes there is a small tribe of humans, completely cut off from the rest of the world. They are horribly inbred; all of them are unusually pale skinned with bright green eyes and pitch black hair and Hadjara was born no different from the rest. She was the second and last child her mother and father –two cousins – had together, and the middle child of her mother’s.
Hadjara was born quiet and clumsy, always distracted and chasing things rather than doing household chores so at a very early age (and despite the protests of her mother following her older brother’s disappearance and presumed death) Hadjara was taken away from their cabin in the middle of the lake to learn how to hunt on the mainland by her grandfather, Rais. Under his care by the age of six she was able to feed herself on all the frogs she could catch, and by the age of eight she could hunt for her family.
Hadjara had always been very close to the rest of her family but Rais was not, he was a cold man and when he put himself in control of the young girl she grew to care more for him than the rest of her kin. She loved them, of course, but she spent most of her time with Rais and he was the only one to challenge her. He fully expected her to be her best and his disappointment hurt more than Hadjara’s mother’s wrath.
By the time he died Hadjara did not seek comfort in the rest of her family, but instead spent as much time as possible on her own to mourn. It was because of this that at the age of twelve she met the Daemon Lord Gabriel for the first time. While Hadjara was fascinated to meet the first person she wasn’t related to in her life she soon returned to her family and thought little of it. She spent a good many years of her life hunting with a spear and net to help provide for her little clan after that. She grew stronger, strong enough to kill then intentionally hunt crocodiles which Hadjara considered the ultimate prey. In her swamp Hadjara would have likely remained for all her years had she not met Gabriel once again when she was twenty. This time they hunted together and Gabriel talked Hadjara into leaving her family and leaving the marshes to see the world that Hadjara had always assumed was one giant swamp with few people in it.
Hadjara traveled for a good long time after that, eventually winding up in the Spirit’s gladiator rings by accident which Gabriel freed her from before they made their separate ways until they met again in the Forest of the Fae and Gabriel invited her to see the Daemon Tunnels. Hadjara agreed to go and as a result, on their way there she was infected by the adumbrate Malak, although it took a good deal more time before they began to actually get along. They didn’t actually like one another, until the god Tatayrn banished Hadjara’s soul to the Shadow World and left Malak in charge of her body to complete a series of tasks to get her back. The time in the Shadow World corrupted and damaged Hadjara, making her less human and more adumbrate herself and when she returned to her body Hadjara immediately changed into a daemon.

Roleplay Sample: (Warning: sexual themes and incest)
Hadjara needed to get out of the cabin tonight. Her half brother from their father, Rahgar, had been watching her closely as she went about her work of skinning and gutting her kill and she knew exactly what he wanted. Even if it hadn’t been plainly written across his face, he had already gone hard for her. As far as Hadjara was concerned, he could go fuck someone who actually wanted him. He had already done so many times; Hadjara thought that at least three of her young nephews were his.
It would seem that Rahgar had taken most of her sister’s and cousin’s maidenhead but Hadjara was happy enough to keep hers well away from him. The little shaman glanced at her half brother out of the corner of her eyes and decided that half prepared or no, it was time to leave her deer behind and run before she was raped. Hadjara tossed her boning knife to the table and walked quickly from the cabin, as quickly as she could without making it obvious she was fleeing.
It wasn’t that Hadjara was loath of the idea of incest - she could not loath her own blood but she could never desire any of them with the heat they lusted for her. There may have been something wrong with her then but for as long as she could, Hadjara wanted to avoid that fate. The problem seemed to be in the simple fact that the little woman had no interest in anyone else in her family and she really didn’t care if she died an old maid.
