Words of Power
Occasionally, when the Gods walk in the realms of their subjects, they leave behind their marks on the land to tell of their coming. Of course, anything the Gods leave behind contains an echo of their power, and the marks have come to be known by the people of Litharia as the Fourteen Words of Power. Anyone may find and read these marks, which are written in the old language of the Gods, however it takes a special person to learn how to use them.

The character can learn to use the fourteen 'words of power' that exist in Litharia. In order to learn the word, however, the character must find and memorise them first. The character can only use one word of power at first, but with each fifty posts they earn over 400 they may learn and use a new word of power.
Rules and Guidelines
- Before being able to use the Fourteen Words of Power, the character must have earned the magical ability Words of Power. Other characters may know the location and even the meaning of the words, but are unable to utilise them.
- The Fourteen Words of Power are scattered around Litharia, one in each major area of the continent. In order to learn a word of power the character must engage in a roleplay of at least four pages in length, in the area of interest. Furthermore, this roleplay must be realistic and include a reasonable description of how the character learned about and found the Word of Power. For example, a Human character will have much more difficulty finding the Word of Power in the Mound than a Fae character.
As stated in the Words of Power ability description, a character with this ability may only learn one new Word of Power for every fifty posts they gain over 400.
When a character has learned a Word of Power they may activate by speaking the word out loud. Characters may only use one Word of Power per thread they are in, maximum.

Location: Spirit of Litharia - inscribed on an old flagstone in the centre of the main market
Word: Spirit / KRELLR
Power: The character speaks and temporarily purges a target of negative energy and thoughts
Location: Cliffs of Heaven - inscribed at the very top of the Cliffs
Word: Air / VINDRA
Power: The character speaks and a gust of wind pins their enemies to the ground
Location: Southern Boil - inscribed on the sacrificial altar at the Hasthansin Temple of Death
Word: Fire / ALDRNARI
Power: The character speaks and sends a wave of fire at their enemies
Location: Westward Marshes - inscribed on a rock in a deep pool behind a Human settlement of Reptilian Shamans
Word: Water / VATN
Power: The character speaks and sends a powerful wave of water at a target
Location: Northern Tangle - inscribed on a tree in the centre of the the territory of the largest herd of Oriental Unicorns, close to the centre of the forest
Word: Earth / HRISTA
Power: The character speaks, causing the earth to shake and knock those around them off their feet
Location: Forest of the Fae - inscribed on the trunk of the largest tree in the forest, an ancient oak rumoured to be able to speak the common tongue
Word: Life / LIFDAGER
Power: The character speaks and heals their own minor to moderate injuries, drawing on their own energy to do so
Location: Daemon Tunnels - inscribed at the top of the crystal spire in the Crystal Cavern
Word: Berserk / BARDAGI
Power: The character speaks and doubles their strength and fury, while halving their ability to feel pain, for the duration of one battle
Location: Shifter Island - inscribed at the lip of the volcano, close to the top of the crater
Word: Moon / TUNGL
Power: The character speaks and for as long as the moonlight touches their skin, they become impervious to all weapons
Location: The City - inscribed on the inside of the Wall, above the main gate
Word: Defend / HLIFA
Power: The character speaks and all magic affecting them falters for the next five posts
Location: The Mound - inscribed directly above the entrance to Faery Land
Word: Insanity / OERR
Power: The character speaks and causes a target to forget who they are and what they were doing for the next five posts
Location: Dream Land - inscribed directly above the Portal to the Dream Land
Word: Chaos / UMSKIPTI
Power: The character speaks and uses a random ability of character creation to 200 post level from their genus book (use random roll to determine which)
Location: City of Thieves - inscribed on the back wall of the office belonging to the King of Thieves
Word: Intuition / ATRUNADR
Power: The character speaks and becomes aware of all living presences with a fifteen metre radius
Location: The Ice Castle - inscribed in the Throne Room, behind the King's throne
Word: Ice / SVELL
Power: The character speaks and causes the temperature of their location to drop to freezing for the next five posts
Location: The Savannah - inscribed in a cave at the top of a huge natural rock formation called Red Mountain found deep in the Savannah

Power: The character speaks and floods the area they stand in with bright light for the next five posts
