Of course there is no us and them
But them they do not think the same
It's them who do not think
But them they do not think the same
It's them who do not think
Appearance:
Human Form:
A small child standing at around 3’9” although she is still growing taller every day. Rho has brilliant curly red hair shot through with a few streaks of brown cut to shoulder length. She usually keeps it tied back in a bow with a scrap of fabric that stays around her neck in her true form since, when let wild, her hair tends to get in the way of everything. She has pale, golden hazel eyes with thick lashes and dark red lips that really are all that stands out on her face; her skin is so pale that the rest of her features barely stand out.
Rho doesn’t have much baby fat since she’s feral and moving near constantly she’s pretty lean for such a young child. Of course, some roundness in her cheeks and belly is to be expected but it is countered with strong muscles in her arms and legs.
As a shifter, Rho wears a lot of clothing that can easily be slipped in and out of. She likes long tunics that reach the top of her knees or dresses that cut off just below the knee, and in the winter she can be coaxed into wearing pants and an undershirt but if anyone tries to get her to wear shoes Rho’s likely to pitch a tremendous fit. As a sign of her true form Rho’s ears are pointed and she walks on tiptoe.
She carries a small obsidian dagger attached to her belt (when she bothers to wear clothes).
True Form:
A small maned wolf, still young enough that her fur is mostly brown and there are still cream-colored markings along her eyes and on her throat. The fur of her legs has just started to turn black and the fur on her shoulders and back has started to turn bright red.
Be their lives longer
Their longer lives are spent
Without a love or faithful friend
Their longer lives are spent
Without a love or faithful friend
Personality: Rho is a curious child, always one to brazenly go exploring and is quite fearless when in new lands although she’s more interested in satisfying her own curiosity than any sort of proper learning. Rho isn’t exactly stupid, she’s quick to pick up on things but she has an unfortunate tendency to take things too literally. If something doesn’t have an obvious, practical use then Rho isn’t interested.
She is a very supportive and protective type of person, although it might be hard to see under her juvenile behavior. She’s empathetic but also incredibly immature and while she can understand why someone might feel a certain way if she doesn’t understand their reaction she’s more likely to pick a fight than say something kind.
They paint their faces so differently from ours
And if you listen closely
That war it never stops
And if you listen closely
That war it never stops
History: Rho is the daughter of Icarus Tenner and Kenyon Boe, older by fifteen minutes than her twin brother Gaios. The twins have spent all their young life living between the cliffs and the tangle, living further in the north during summer and taking shelter in the coastal portion of the cliffs in the winter. Their mother was careful to raise the twins away from the touch of civilization, both Human and Fae although the twins both came into contact with other wild shifters regularly so they managed to be somewhat normalized outside of the context of their less than stable parents.
While Rho and her brother are not even remotely close to being domesticated, they’re barely literate and have no real grasp on any sort of skilled learning both of the twins already have a fairly good grasp on their ability to shift, although they still find it easier to change under moonlight.
