Name: Colton Byzan
Nickname(s): Colt
Age: 10
Date of Birth: October 17th
Sexuality: None
Breed: Aquatic Werebeast- Yellow Head Moray Eel
Abilities:
Amphibian- Can breathe on both water and land in either form.
Loyalty: None
Status/Occupation: Feral child/Tends to stay near large bodies of water
Appearance:
Human Form; Colt is a young boy that's roughly four foot six in height. He has a very rounded face with very little, defined features due to his youth as well. Most of his body is actually quite fit for someone of his age, as he rarely ever stays in one place for long and is swimming on a regular basis. His skin is free of any blemishes or scars and is a soothing shade of ivory. Exposing it to too much such will easily burn his skin and turn it into a scalding red. Instead of having a singular color for his eyes, he actually has two different colors. Colt's right eye is a glimmering jade green. Instead of having his left eye be brown though, it is silver-grey, a trait from his true form. Fitting his complexion and dual-colored eyes, Colt's hair is a bright blonde with dark brown roots. There is not ever any care for his hair beyond making it easier for him to see while in his human form, so the length tends to get long. It's thick, choppy hair with small waves towards the tips.
Clothing varies from the time of year, to location. Generally he will wear whatever he can steal from travelers or other feral children. Clothing is only a means of survival for him, so even torn rags will work as long as they keep him warm, cool, or protected. Something he actually enjoys doing is making knives out of sharp teeth, specifically of other fish from large bodies of water. He has a small curved knife made from the tooth of a small dragon corpse that was long since dead.
True Form; His true form is a 2.3 foot long Yellow Headed Moray Eel. He eats any fish he's able to kill, including anything larger than him that is relatively non-aggressive. His body is silver with brown and black spots and a yellow "halo" on the top portion of his head. Salt water is the most comfortable form of water for him to be in, as his true form is naturally from that. Him being a shifter grants him the ability to function in fresh water as well, just not to his full capabilities nor for very long. In this form, his eyes are silver/white.
Personality:
Feral; Survival is vital and almost nothing else matters. Colt stays away from civilizations, camps (besides to steal), and just people in general. He tends to avoid wildlife as well, since most wildlife would try to eat him if given the chance. His true form is his biggest asset to his survival, and it requires water to be of any use to him. That is why he tends to stay around large pieces of water. Colt travels a lot too so that his food sources can reproduce while he hunts in a different location.
Cautious; Colt was never socialized to people, and therefore is very wary of them. While still childish in nature, he has adapted enough to analyze some situations on account of whether they are worth any trouble, or not, or whether he'd make it out alive stealing, fighting or not. The type of eel he transforms into is much smaller than most morays. That and the fact he is not a fully grown won contributes to him being a tasty snack. Being on the food chain has made him cautious of anyone, everything, and everyone as well.
Curious; Despite his wariness, Colt is still a child and is naturally curious. He's actually more-so curious than he should be, thus another reason why he tends to travel more. Mostly, he's curious about things that don't try to eat him or other underwater creatures that are similar in appearance to him. He enjoys learning to a certain degree. He is rather perceptive and careful with his curiosity most of the time.
Aggressive; Namely from his true form, Colt's initial thought is to attack something that he knows is weaker than him, or something that he thinks he has an advantage over. Sometimes this applies to his human form, but it mainly applies to his true form. With his long teeth, his bite can hurt and tear flesh easily if he thrashes around enough.
History:
Colt was born to a shifter family in the Tangle, who were also feral. He had two older sisters and was the youngest out of all of them. They left when he was very, very young though, so even to the present day he only knows that they exist. His mother (also a Yellow-Headed Moray Eel) and he father (a Wolf Eel) were somewhat cold and harsh, raising him off of one of Litharia's southern reefs. They specifically taught him in shifting to make hunting easier. He spent most of his existence in his true form, until he absolutely needed to go out in his human form. At six years of age, closer to his seventh year, Colt's parents disappeared.
