You know I'm not one to break promises
I don't want to hurt you but I need to breathe
At the end of it all, you're still my best friend
I don't want to hurt you but I need to breathe
At the end of it all, you're still my best friend

There's nothing I can really say.

Got to be true to myself.
I can't lie no more, I can't hide no more,
Got to be true to myself.
Appearance:
Iaoth is strong with a powerful build, very distantly feminine in frame but well-muscled and broad. First and foremost Iaoth is a warrior and she does little to accentuate her body, preferring to dress in boiled leather and chain-mail and rarely seen without a sword strapped to her hip. Her body is usually decorated with paints since Iaoth's tastes change too frequently for tattoos and she’s not particularly fond of the green freckles decorating her body, preferring to cover them up with clothing or paint.
As an angel Iaoth is of an average height at six foot and eleven inches tall. She has sun-kissed dark skin and long dark brown hair that would, on its own, fall to mid-back but it usually done up in a tight bun to keep it out of her face. Iaoth has wide, chocolate brown eyes and eyebrows that arch up, giving her a sort of cheerfully confused look at all times. All of Iaoth is broad and angular, from her jaw to her shoulders to her legs and even her great dark brown feathered wings.
You've given me more than I can return,
Yet there's oh so much that you deserve.
There's nothing to say, nothing to do.
Yet there's oh so much that you deserve.
There's nothing to say, nothing to do.
Personality:
Iaoth is friendly and earnest. She likes being around other people and is highly sociable, both within her professional life and social life. At work Iaoth is smart and quick thinking, and able to command the soldiers under her. She’s very dedicated to her work, but she also makes friends fairly easily. Iaoth has a sense of humor and loves a good joke even if she herself couldn’t tell a good one to save her life.
Of course, Iaoth is at her best when surrounded by her people, whose culture, biology, and magic she considers superior to all other species. Towards Daemons Iaoth is disdainful, and all for purging Litharia of the chaotic race. To all other species, including the other outcasts, Iaoth is amused and vaguely interested, treating them more like an interesting pet than an equal.
I've nothing to give,
I must live without you.
You know we're heading separate ways.
I must live without you.
You know we're heading separate ways.
History:
Iaoth is the daughter of two middle class earth angels, the third and last child and only daughter to the pair. Her parents used their magic to make a living as farmers and taught their three children to do the same as well as teaching them to have a fierce loyalty for their race and archangel. Of her siblings and herself, only Iaoth had any desire to help her species above and beyond working on her family’s farm with her parents and brothers. So when news of a plan to return to Litharia reached her Iaoth was ecstatic and enlisted in the army immediately at the age of 174.
Already strong and good with tools, Iaoth had much physical capacity for fighting even if it took her several decades to become used to swordplay and using a sword rather than a hoe. It took much longer for Iaoth to work her way up ranks, frequently paying more attention to her work than to her social life. Which is not to say that the young angel was without friends. Most of them were soldiers within the fallen’s army, fire and earth angels of varies talents. Iaoth grew to care for most of the people she worked with and would willing to trust her life in any one of their hand’s.
By the time Iaoth made it to general she was in a relationship with a pretty water angel who made a living as a messenger and had been bringing letters back and forth between Iaoth and her family for many years. They loved each other, even though Iaoth and Elohi saw each other far less often than either one of them would have liked. There was no helping that, both of them scarcely had any free time and when they did it was even rarer for one to have free time at the same time as the other. But they made it work up until Iaoth received the news that she was to be one of the one hundred soldiers to accompany the angel’s on their return to Litharia. Elohi was unwilling to leave so Iaoth departed without family or lover.
While she cared little for its native races Iaoth quite liked Litharia itself, and she enjoyed the wilderness for the year she lived in Litharia as the archangels prepared for war.
Got to be true to myself.
And it feels like I am just too close to love you,
So I'll be on my way.
And it feels like I am just too close to love you,
So I'll be on my way.
