1. What is your policy regarding multiple characters?
There is a limit of one character per account, but you may have as many accounts as you can manage. However, if you are playing more than one of your characters in a single thread, there is no need to log in and out. We generally advise that your previous character has at least fifty posts before making a new one, just so you are sure you can handle it.
2. How do you send a PM?
First, click the recipients username to get to their profile. At the top there is a link that says “Send Personal Message”. Simple as that. There are also two buttons below a member’s avatar when they post. The left one is for e-mail and the right one is for PM.
3. Does everyone have a profile?
Yes. Under the site banner there is a link that says “Profile”. From there you are able to choose an avatar, edit your signature, change the appearance of your username, and other fun things.
4. How do you advance from being a sleeper?
Once you choose a species, you will be put into a member-group with that species. However, you will still technically be considered a sleeper until you reach 50 posts.
5. How do I post an application?
Your application goes on the appropriate Character Application board. Click on the board for the species you have chosen. Then, click the Character Application board. Once there, you are free to post your own thread. Please use your character’s name as the title.
6. Where did my roleplay thread go?
In effort to keep the boards as clean and tidy as possible, inactive threads that have not been posted in for at least a month will be moved to the Thread Archive. If you know that replies in your board will be slow, please PM a staff member to let them know that this thread has not died - this will keep the board up for another month. If the thread has already been moved to the archive, it is possible to PM a staff member and have it restored.

1. What are the lifespans of the species?
Fae live to be, on average, one thousand years old. Daemons go to eight hundred. Shifters live to be four hundred. Humans typically live a hundred years. Outcast ages are specified on their species page. Of course, these are only averages. Now that the war has begun, the average is probably going to be a lot lower…
2. What are the normal hair colors for changelings?
Changelings may have any hair color that matches the animal they are most closely connected to.
3. How do abilities work?
In your species information thread, there will be a list of all the created abilities for your species. At character creation, you are allowed to choose one of the abilities listed under the part that says “At character creation, choose one of the following”. If there is no ability listed or the ability/abilities don’t fit your character, you are welcome to PM me with a new one. There will be a form posted at the beginning of the ability list. Every fifty posts, your character gains a stronger ability from that list. When you reach the last level, Fate will pop up randomly and offer you other abilities until you reach 800. Then your character will gain a new affinity.
4. What is your policy on half breeds?
Any creature may breed within its own sub-species (a fire fairy can mate with a sky fairy) and produce fertile offspring. This would be like a poodle breeding with a pug; entirely possible. The offspring will have colorings and features of both or either parent, but will only take after one of them magically.
Any creature may breed within its own primary species (a fairy can mate with an elf) and produce infertile offspring. This would be like a lion breeding with a tiger; possible but a bit of an enigma. The offspring will have the coloring of one parent and the physical features of the other. It will only take after one of them magically.
Breeding between different species (a human and a fairy) is impossible.
5. Can my shifter take the form of a mythical creature?
Your character may taken on the influence of a mythical or extinct creature - as long as there is an article written about it in the Lore. Only non-sentient animals are applicable to these rule and such occurrences are very rare. Keep in mind that your character will not possess any special qualities that these forms allow, but instead, will only take on that appearance. Any ability - as other abilities - will have to be earned through post count.
Should you plan to create a character with influences from a mythical animal, it is best to consult this with a staff member, just in case the animal you planned happens to be an exception to this rule. Also, staff members may be able to help find a compromise - for example, a curse bestowed upon the character.
6. How do I reclaim my archived character?
1. You will have to make a new account for the character because the original will have been deleted.
2. When that is done, visit the appropriate ‘Character Application’ board and post a thread saying, “Reclaiming (Character Name)”.
3. Your moderator or an admin will then copy and paste the original application in that thread, approve the application, and restore your post count.
4. Happy posting!
